WHO IS BEHIND OUTDOOR XCAPE?
We’re Melissa and Peter, the team behind OutdoorXcape Rentals.
Melissa is local to the area, raised on a farm near Mendham, Saskatchewan. Growing up surrounded by nature gave her a deep appreciation for the outdoors and the calm it brings. That connection has grown into a passion for helping others experience time outside in a meaningful way—whether it’s on the water or simply stepping away from everyday routines. For Melissa, the outdoors is a place to reset, reconnect, and create lasting memories.
Peter is originally from northern England, raised in Morpeth, where much of his time was spent exploring woodlands and enjoying summers around Bamburgh Castle Beach. He has always felt at home outdoors. Peter enjoys fishing whenever he gets the chance and has a real talent for it. He also has a unique interest in catching bee swarms, reflecting his patience, curiosity, and respect for nature.
Together, we share a love for the outdoors and a belief in its ability to bring people together. OutdoorXcape Rentals was created from that passion—to provide simple, accessible, and memorable outdoor experiences.
One of our favourite ways to share that experience is through time on the South Saskatchewan River, where guests can see a different side of the community and enjoy the natural beauty around them.
For us, it’s more than rentals—it’s about time well spent outside, connection with nature, and creating moments that bring family, friends, and communities together.

We will drop off the equipment at the starting point at Echo Dale Boat Launch located at 1001 Echo Dale Rd SW. The finish point is Strathcona Boat Launch at 1150 5 St Se, Medicine Hat.

We will drop off the equipment at the starting point at 32 Heron Court located just west of Desert Blume in the dip on the left hand side. The finish point will be in Kin Coulee Park at the very end of the park closest to the Trans Canada Bridge.
